It is used for crumbling long and broader pellets into required smaller size. Crumbler feed is required to feed poultry birds in chick stage, as they cannot eat the bigger pellets.

It consists of a set of two rollers rotating in opposing directions. One roller is fixed while the other one can be adjusted.

Rolls are centrifugally cast with dual metal pouring. The rollers are made from high quality chilled cast iron with chill depth 20mm to 30mm depending upon the application. Adjustment Roller is spring loaded to prevent damage for rollers if any hard material comes along with the feed. The gap can be adjusted as per requirement.

Both rollers are dynamically balanced for noise and vibration free performance.

 There is a in-built by-pass arrangement if full pellets are required instead of crumbled one.
